YOUR CONTENT

User-Generated Content Policy

Your Calls, Moments and Receipts are yours. Sharing them still requires rights, consent and good judgment.

Effective: 21 August 2026Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. What counts as user content

User content includes profile information, Calls, options, votes, comments, Moments, photos, video, audio, evidence, reactions, Receipts, Capsules, Event content, reports, messages to support and anything else a user submits or creates through the service.

2. You keep ownership

You retain the rights you already have in your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, transmit and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve and support the service in line with your settings. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to lawful retention, backups and copies another user has independently shared.

3. Rights and consent are your responsibility

Only submit content you have the right to use. Obtain appropriate permission before recording or sharing another person, especially for private conversations, children, intimate settings, workplaces, venues or content that reveals sensitive information. A private Group or Event does not remove these responsibilities.

4. Visibility and sharing

Group content is intended for the participants and roles shown in the app. Built-in sharing can create a copy outside the Group, where the original privacy controls may no longer apply. Before sharing a Receipt, remove personal details that do not need to travel with it.

5. Prohibited content

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, threatening, hateful, deceptive, dangerously misleading, invasive of privacy, intended to harass, or otherwise prohibited by our Community Guidelines or Acceptable Use Policy. Do not fabricate evidence or present a prediction as proof of a sensitive allegation.

6. Moderation and evidence

We may use automated signals and human review to investigate reports and enforce our rules. We may restrict, remove, preserve or disclose content when reasonably necessary for safety, service integrity, legal compliance or dispute resolution. A timestamp shows when content was recorded; it does not verify that the content is true.

7. Reports, appeals and copyright

Report content through the app for the fastest account-aware review. Rights holders can use our Copyright & IP Complaint Policy. If we take action against your content, follow the appeal route in the notice or contact support@cloutaura.com.
